Head Teacher Jackie Mutton says…
Hindpool Nursery School and Childrens Centre is a happy, caring and successful centre whose purpose is the education and care of children aged 2 – 8 years old by well qualified staff, alongside a wide range of activities and services for children, families and the local community.

I believe that the success of the school is based on the:
  • Partnership that exists between the school, the children, the parents and their families.
  • Hard work of the staff and governors in providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment with a rich diverse curriculum.
  • Strong community spirit within Hindpool and Barrow.

  • Mission Statement
The governors, staff, parents and children believe that everyone is entitled to a safe, caring and nurturing environment which values and respects the individuality of each person. We believe that appropriate, exciting and enjoyable learning experiences provided by well qualified staff, make it possible for all to flourish and so more confidently follow their journey of life.
